Season-Long Celebration Continues Through Mid-August

Summerfest 2009 kicks off on June 29 at the full-service resort, and continues until August 16 with a full slate of activities scheduled for every day of the week.

Resort guests can enjoy canoe rides on a crystalline lake, spa specials and pony rides.  Outdoor activitied offered include fly fishing, family golf and tennis, and a kids water challenge at the outdoor pool.  These special events are in addition to the nearly endless recreational opportunities available at the resort, such as championship golfing, boating, fishing, and horseback riding.

This is the third year for Summerfest at Glade Springs, which was created to celebrate all that is truly special about the summer season.  “Quite simply, we want our guests to have an unforgettable experience,” said Elmer Coppoolse, President and CEO of EMCO Hospitality.  “No matter what your family wants to do this summer, they can enjoy all of it and more at Glade Springs.”

The 4,100 acre resort is nestled in the mountains of Southern West Virginia, which boasts refreshing summertime temperatures, scenic beauty, and an astounding array of wildlife.  The luxurious destination offers a wide variety of overnight accommodations and dining options, with special pricing for family, spa, and golf packages.
