The Resort at Glade Springs is proud to announce the fifth season of the “Jim Jamieson School of Golf” in 2011.

Jim Jamieson, a former PGA TOUR champion, has been associated with our resort for quite a while now and his professional golf instruction classes are conducted throughout the summer at our West Virginia golf resort.

One of the greatest golf players of all times, Jim Jamieson has been a member of the World Cup Team, the Director of Golf at The Greenbrier, All-American at Oklahoma State, lead instructor of the John Jacobs Golf School, and the Head Professional at The Pines Golf Club and the Pete Dye Golf Club. The Resort at Glade Springs now offers you this unique opportunity to learn the game and pick up some invaluable tips from this magnificent golfer.

The Jim Jamieson School of Golf has separate schools that are specifically designed in accordance with the age group and the varying levels of playing ability of the participants. Jamieson personally conducts each class and is present at all times, and since we limit the number of attendees, you get the chance to personally interact with him and benefit from his guidance.

Includes six hours of full swing and short game instruction from Academy PGA Professional staff with video analysis.  Also includes lunch and 18 holes of golf on the Cobb Course.

You can opt for our 1-night package with half day instruction that includes a night’s stay at one of our luxury guest rooms, three hours of personalized golf instruction by Jim Jamieson, followed by 9 holes on the award winning Cobb Course. The 1-night package is designed especially for students who are "on the go". Package starts at $349 per night.

If you want a little more time to pick up the nitty-gritties of the game from this former PGA TOUR professional, you can go for the 1-night package with a full day of instruction. This comes with accommodation in our deluxe guest rooms, 6 hours of full swing and short game instruction with video analysis, followed by 18 holes on the Cobb Course. Package starts at $549 per night.
