The challenging nature of this sport is only comparable to the unspeakable view from the top.

You will see all of the beauty of our New River Gorge from an angle you cannot achieve any other way.

There is a real sense of accomplishment to conquering some of the most rugged mountain terrain available. You will see why Southern West Virginia is a destination for even the most experienced mountain climbers.

If you have an adventurous heart but no experience, fear not, we also provide a guide who can instruct you, as well as safety equipment for your climb.

If you are ready for a day filled with breathtaking views, mental and physical challenges and a real taste of nature at it's most impressive then rock climbing is calling you.

Summersville Lake Climbing Experience

Come experience one of West Virginia’s most beautiful lakes through a truly unique adventure that will appeal to just about everyone.  Try a full day of rock climbing and swimming at Summersville Lake. A pontoon boat will be used as a mode of transportation to escort you to the various climbing routes that outline this breathtaking lake. This is an activity that can accommodate all ability levels from the beginner to the seasoned climber. All equipment and a deli style lunch will be provided on this adventure. The only thing that you will need to bring is your swim suit, a change of clothes, camera, suntan lotion and a sense of adventure.

Full Day climbing $150 per person (for 5 or more)
Full Day climbing $160 per person (minimum 4)

New River Gorge Rappelling Experience

If you have limited time, but would still love the chance to experience the exhilarating feeling of stepping off of a hundred foot cliff, then our 2 1/2 hour rappel is the trip for you. You will be rappelling next to one of the nation’s longest bridges. The view is absolutely incredible while the rush of sliding down a 100 foot rope is sure to be a family pleaser.

Half Day $75 per person
Full Day $140 per person (includes lunch)
Evening Rappels $45 per person
