There's no need to put your fitness schedule on hold during your West Virginia vacation getaway - at The Resort at Glade Springs Fitness Center, it's a pleasure to keep fit!

Conveniently located in the Leisure Center, the Fitness Center is a modern and spacious facility featuring a full compliment of weight machines and a large free-weights area. Hop on one of the many treadmills or elliptical trainers, and your workout will fly by as you enjoy your own personal flat-screen television. Recumbent and stationary bikes, exercise balls, and yoga mats are also available for your use at the Fitness Center. An indoor swimming pool (complete with lap lanes), bowling, basketball and a tennis court are all just steps away, right under the same roof.

When your workout is over, relax and revitalize with a massage or facial upstairs at Spa Orange - one of West Virginia's finest full-service spas - or soothe those muscles in the hot tub, steam room or sauna.

Bring the entire family, and let the kids play in the arcade, tumble around in the indoor play area or catch a movie in the cinema room while you exercise.

Fitness classes for all ages and abilities are also scheduled throughout the week at the Fitness Center. Lockers, shower facilities, snacks and beverages are available. Fitness classes are $10 per person.

Fitness Class Schedule

Zumba Fitness

Zumba classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. Before participants know it, they’re getting fit and their energy levels are soaring! There’s no other fitness class like a Zumba Fitness-Party. It’s easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating, often building a deep-rooted community among returning students.

*Available Monday and Wednesday at 9:30am

Body Sculpting

Experience this challenging and dynamic whole body muscle conditioning class using dumbbells, bands, tubes, exercise balls, ankle weights, and body bars as resistance tools.

*Available Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00pm, Saturday at 9:00am


PiYo combines the muscle-sculpting, core-firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility advantages of yoga. And, we crank up the speed to deliver a true fat-burning, low-impact workout that leaves your body looking lean, and incredibly defined.

*Available Monday at 5:30pm

Body Bootcamp

Bootcamp classes combine intervals of cardio drills and muscle conditioning exercises to provide you with the ultimate circuit workout.

*Available Monday and Wednesday at 6:00pm


Yoga is a form of exercise that uses slow movements and stretching. It is good for increasing flexibility and balance. It is also good for relieving stress and relaxing.

*Available Wednesday at 7:00pm, Thursday at 10:30am and Friday at 8:15am

Glade Fit

Glade Fit is low impact, essentially designed to raise your heart rate, this class targets major muscle groups, including your arms and legs.

*Available Tuesday and Thursday at 9:30am and Friday at 7:00am
