Little Beaver State Park

If you are looking for additional outdoor recreational activities near The Resort at Glade Springs, then Little Beaver State Park is the place to go.

Located less than 5 miles from the resort, Little Beaver State Park has a whole lot to do with little driving. This 562-acre park features, fishing, picnic shelters, playgrounds, and 18 hiking trails. If this isn't enough to fill your vacation needs Little Beaver also hosts several other seasonal events throughout the year.

If fishing is your game, Little Beaver has an 18 acre lake calling your name. The fish are stocked and ready to bite! You may just catch bass, crappie, channel cat, bluegill and trout. West Virginia fishing licenses are required before you cast.

The hiking trails are all varied and range in difficulty and length. So whether you are planning a full day of hiking, or a morning stroll through the West Virginia landscapes, Little Beaver State Park has a hiking trail ready for you.

Traveling with little ones? Little Beaver State Park has plenty to do and see for younger travelers. With several picnic areas, many featuring playgrounds, Little Beaver is the park for the youngest Glade Springs guests.

In addition to all of the outdoor activities you can also visit the Museum of History. Located just inside the entrance of Little Beaver State Park, this is a great place to catch up on local and natural history.
