Float and Fish

Enjoy unforgettable fishing in West Virginia with a full or half-day float on the New River, led by our experienced anglers. You'll reel in catch after catch from the comfort of cushioned seats on a custom-designed boat. Each boat holds two people plus your guide. Beginner Fly-Fishing Instructional Clinics

Fly-fishing is the best way to experience a classic fishing vacation in West Virginia - you know you've always wanted to learn! Our pros will instruct you in the proper equipment, fly selection and use, and casting - and you'll put your new skills to test on the water in this 2-hour beginner's clinic. This is the perfect group activity to round out your adventure at The Resort at Glade Springs, and we'll customize the instruction to fit your crew perfectly. Private classes are also available.

Walk-n-Wade Excursions

Our "in the know" guides will take you to their favorite local streams where you'll spin-cast or fly-fish for rainbows, browns, and the occasional elusive golden trout. You'll hike on easy, scenic trails shaded by mountain laurel next to beautiful, tumbling mountain streams. Your family will experience spectacular waterfalls and deep pools of water where hungry trout lie in wait for the perfect presentation. Veteran anglers will enjoy the challenge of the runs and riffles on these gorgeous stretches of stocked water. Choose a half or full day, and receive personalized instruction by our knowledgeable guides, while you experience a memorable trout fishing vacation in the wilds of wonderful West Virginia.
